Climate, Coffee, Connect
February 15 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pmFree
About Climate, Coffee, Connect:
Inclusive, informal daytime meet-up bringing together those with a shared passion for sustainability. We meet every other month in Cheltenham.
Whether you’re a business owner, community organisation, sustainability professional, faith group, charity, public service employee, student, consultant or anything in between, come along and meet others interested in sustainability.
Collaborate, innovate and share your real life struggles and successes in a non-judgemental space with others facing the same challenges. No agenda just a chat over a coffee whilst supporting a local charity. Perfect if you prefer an alcohol free environment or have to juggle childcare in the evenings…
Hosted by CheltenhamZero and Planet Cheltenham.
About the Venue:
The Sober Parrot is a not-for-profit cafe run by The Nelson Trust, a registered charity that brings belief, hope and long-term recovery to people whose lives have been torn apart by addiction and the multiple and complex needs that come with it. Vegan and vegetarian options available.
About your hosts:

Planet Cheltenham: Is a project run by local climate charity Vision 21 that aims to build a sustainable and resilient future for the town and to minimise its carbon footprint, by showcasing community climate solutions and empowering local people to act and support each other. At present they run a youth climate group, community fridge, clothes swaps and baby and toddler sessions. The longer term vision is to set up a physical space to host meetings and events, and showcase an energy-efficient building project. www.planetcheltenham.org
