£7,400 grant awarded for emissions reduction project for serviced apartments. Funding will contribute to cost of solar PV, gas removal or electrification and / or EV charging points on their apartments.
First BCorp certified serviced apartment provider in the UK: “In December 2023, Beechurst Serviced Apartments became the first BCorp certified serviced apartment provider in the UK, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and good governance. It is part of our mission to offer “the most sustainable stays in Cheltenham” and our pathway to net zero which we aim to reach by the end of December 2025. The Cheltenham Zero grant will be put to good use as part of our capital expenditure in our infrastructure, supporting us with energy and carbon saving measures. These include extending our solar panel array and battery facilities, solar-enabling our hot water system, and looking at centralised controls for heating for example.”
